Our mind is a muscle that holds a lot of tension. Meditation is non-denominational. It does not follow any particular religious system or teaching. When I sit down to meditate it is not to a god or deity in particular. It is like going home when one meditates. Everything that one needs to know is contained within. Your soul knows how to attract in different experiences by simply allowing the everyday consciousness to dissolve into another dimension. Meditation simply helps us to shift our conscious awareness to something else
